Our partner, Arrow Lakes Caribou Society, is having their annual open house on Friday, March 13th at the Central Selkirk Caribou Maternity Pen. At 9am, Rick Desautel of the Sinixt Confederacy will offer a Caribou Ceremony to honor the caribou and make offerings for their recovery. The open house starts at 10am and is a great opportunity to learn about caribou recovery, ask questions, and tour the pen.
Driving directions: Drive 10km on Hot Springs Road, turn left onto Kuskanax Forest Service Road, drive for 1.5km on FSR, park at 1.5km on the forest service road.
